Roland SH-09

The restoration of this SH-09 included recapping and cleaning of all pots and sliders and a general overhaul of its looks. This particular SH-09 had a problem with the LFO leaking out to the audio out puts, this was remedied with new caps and the SH-09 sounded fabulous after it got all new caps, in fact it almost got me to buy one for my self due to the fat nature of the sounds.

Some sliders had bent slider shafts

Keyboard was extremely dirty.

Although it does not look all that bad, the output was extremely bent probably from a bang on the backside. This was one reason why the SH-09 picked up all types of noise.

Keyboards are always this dirty and worse.

Another sticky price tag perhaps ?

This black foam has a tendency to dry up and cause more problems with the pots than it protects them from dust. I choose to remove it all.

Roland's "J-wire" system is much more reliable than the pratt & read version.

The rubber parts of the bender often dries up and breaks into small pieces. I found some nice new O-rings to replace these old ones.

No more scratches, if you truly want to cover all traces of a paint job spray one layer of clear finish.

Ready to go back to the store for sale. (I might add it got sold for a steep price).
