Roland Juno-106

Although I have done service on several Juno's I have only photographed this keyboard cleaning process.

Make sure you know which wire goes where before detaching them.

Keyboard is out of the chassis.

On the under side of the keyboard there is a key stop preventing the keys from being loosened from the metal structure. You must remove this plastic stripe before attempting to remove the keys.

With the springs and the key stop removed gently push the towards you and it will come loose. The springs are of the same length so you do not have to worry about which type you install where.

Key is removed. Begin with all the white keys and then the black.

All keys removed.

Remove the rubber connector from the PCB. Cleaning the keyboard requires you to clean each connector inside the rubber pieces you might also want to clean the PCB it self. I use Isopropanyl alcohol for this. Make sure you get it cleaned with a solvent that does not contain any oil.
