Electroharmonix DRM-16

This was a really funny project to work on. Although the DRM or indeed any old Electroharmonix PCBs will give you trouble. In the old days they didn't wash away the resin making the solder joints and some times the traces lift from the PCB. This concerns the potentiometers of their products especially.

Searching for the different drum signals on the PCB. Finding them took a little while while, finding the trig input signals for each drum sound wasn't that hard. They all can be triggered from the 28 Leg IC seen in this picture where the bottom most white wire crosses the red one.

Octopus ?

More wires, had to label them all to remember what function they had. Notice the old stomp box housing in the background.

Finally the PCB was in place and all the inputs and outputs in place.

The rack front panel for this EH DRM-16 was designed by me and manufactured by www.neriks.com . Later I will build a midi to trig device converter for this client so that each drum can be triggered through midi. The front panel was designed in Front panel designer by schafer.
