Akai VX-600

This Akai VX600 had it's display light updated with a new EL-foil and the installation of a switch for switching the EL-foil on and off. The Inverter for EL-foil panels often makes an irritating beeping buzz noise but with the switch installed where the 5Volts connects to the inverter you can switch the inverter off and thus you don't have to sit and listen to the noise of the inverter.

Here is the correct polarization of the EL-foil cable.

Here I added the switch for turning the inverter on/off which turns off the display light.
